When submitting your application, you must submit original transcripts (mark sheets) and the graduation certificate or diploma. If you attended university-level classes, you must submit ALL college and university transcripts and diplomas instead of your high school credentials. See minimum education requirements.

If you have your original, hard-copy college transcript from a country outside the United States, bring it and the certified English translation to any campus Admissions & Enrollment Office.    

ACC accepts digital transcripts of academic documents, such as those provided by Parchment Digitary Services or My eQuals. 

Students can see if their school uses the Parchment Digitary Services transcript system on the Parchment Digitary Services website or the My eQuals transcript system on the My eQuals website.

Document Requirements

Your official transcripts must:

• Include your graduation date.
• Bear the original seal of the awarding institution, or be certified by a U.S. Embassy or consulate or certified by the Ministry of Education in your home country.
• Be an original document or a certified photocopy that bears the original seal of the awarding institution.
• Faxes, scanned/imaged, uncertified photocopies, and online or e-issued transcripts are NOT accepted.

English Translations

ACC requires a certified English translation from a certified translator if the original document is not in English. ACC does not offer translation services. The following is a suggested list of organizations that provide document translation. You also may use a certified English translator in your home country.

If the original document is not in English, a professional translation is required. Find certified translators at Austin Area Translators & Interpreters Association or American Translators Association.

Proof of Enrollment for F-1 Co-Enrollment Students

When you submit your university transcripts with your application, if the transcript does not reflect enrollment for the semester you plan on enrolling at ACC, an official proof of enrollment is required (also known as an enrollment verification).

For F-2 dependent visa students: Proof of enrollment from the primary F-1 student’s current institution for the semester in which you intend to enroll at ACC.

For ACC summer enrollment, we will accept the previous spring enrollment from your current university.

Keep in mind that a new proof of enrollment must be submitted prior to each semester you plan to enroll at ACC.
